Rap up is a magazine that seems to be targetting an audience of a youthful quantity the magazine seems to be hitting at the RnB artists and industry such as the main picture which is eye candy of very attractive RnB female artsists. the use of alliteration with stop and stare is very eye catching and audiences would leap up and buy the magazine, the wording stop and stare also being part of a song is also a bonus for audiences. The magazine is focused on the hip hop and R&B aspect of the music industry, and predominantly features interviews with artists, actors and other entertainers. Issued quarterly, the magazine's target audience was the 14 to 28 demographic, although the demographic has become older over time.

Front Cover Analysis 2: XXL
The magazine XXL is aimed at people who are properly devoted to music and live for it the magazine is naimed at those who can keep up with the boom fashion sense that the artisits in the picture above have. as we can se the magazine is truly devoted to those in the rap or the grime and hip hop industry and this is conveyed through looking at the front cove. the sell lines on the magazine entice the audience to buy the magazine. The clothing used for Eminem and the other artists presumably rap artists that are dressed in Black casual wear with hats sterotypical of men and teenage boys who often like wearing their hats. the fact that all the men are dressed in black conveys the shaerp coolness that they can achieve and also represents the latest swagger. the colour scheme is simple meaning that the viewer doesnt have to absorb in too much colour the colours red black and yellow and white convey coolness and as there are very few colours this means that the eye candy(the men in the front cover picture ) can be consumed without any colour clashes.
In 1997, XXL was founded by former Source staffers as well as other Harris Publication employees, who wanted to create their own magazine about the hip-hop music and culture using the model developed by the founders of The Source. The magazine's past editors included Elliott Wilson (formerly of Ego Trip Magazine and The Source)] and Datwon Thomas (former Editor-In-Chief of King Magazine). In May 2009 Datwon Thomas resigned from XXL and executive editor Vanessa Satten, who had been with XXL since 1998, was named the new Editor-in-Chief.
In December 2006, XXL took over the struggling Hip-Hop producer and DJ magazine Scratch (another publication owned by Harris Publications), re-branding it as "XXL Presents Scratch Magazine". Scratch shut down in September 2007. Other titles with limited runs have been launched under the XXL brand, including Hip-Hop Soul, Eye Candy and Shade45. XXL has released many other special projects including tour programs, mixtapes and exclusive DVDs. XXL also maintains a popular website which provides daily hip-hop news, original content and content from the magazine.

Front Cover Analysis 1 : Disorder
Disorder is a magazine that aims to target teenagers in the modern era. the title of the magazine would be equally appealing to many youngsters because most teenagers would use the word and associate the word with something being cool.
From the picture of NDubz which consists of Dappy Fazer and Tuliza who represent the average teenage rap or grime or even a ballad. The colour scheming of this magazine is very important because if it had too many colours it would look like a child aged 7-10 years of age magazine whereas are stereotypically unfond of many colours and tend to prefer the much darker colours to suit their mood. The colours that connote this are the red in the disorder and white to show coolness. The sell lines in this picture offer the reader an interesting interview and does offer them some sort of fashion sense. The writing on the magazine is quite unique and quite conventional as it appeals to the average teenage writer ass it is big and bold which stands out meaning that teenagers will be able to notice them. The costume that the group is wearing is a mean to represent swagger and the average teenage attire. The female in the middle represents an icon for many female teenagers.
